Here we are, the game that’s been circled on every Ohio State fan’s calendar. Now that we’ve got the sarcasm out of the way, I’ll just be blunt: this is going to be ugly.

Former Ohio State defensive coordinator Chris Ash’s time might be running out in Piscataway after compiling a 7-27 record in three years, but he might not even be at double-digit career wins when he faces the Buckeyes in mid-November. There are maybe four winnable games for the Scarlet Knights to this point in the season, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they won just 1-2 of them.

Ohio State will have its way with the Scarlet Knights on the road as the crowd won’t be nearly as Rutgers-heavy as Ash would hope.

Justin Fields will reach 300 yards yet again — it’ll be the norm for him at this point in the year — and he may even approach 100 rushing yards on the day.

This will be a cakewalk for Ryan Day and Co.

Final Score: Ohio State 49, Rutgers 7 (9-1, 6-1)
