Coming off their first loss of the season, the Buckeyes will head back home to Columbus with a poor taste in their mouths and a familiar foe waiting for them.

Michigan State has given the Buckeyes a tough time over the years and even though last year’s game ended with a 26-6 victory, the Spartans had them sweating it out for three quarters until their anemic offense coughed the ball up two times inside their own 20-yard line — that led to a couple of quick Ohio State scores.

Don’t expect Michigan State’s offense to be nearly as bad as it was last season, but it won’t be scoring 40 points a game, either.

This could be a defensive battle as the Spartans have one of the best defenses in the nation and Ohio State should be solid once again after reloading. Like most battles between these two teams over the past 7-8 years, this one will be close and come down to the final quarter.

Ohio State will pull a reverse-2015 game and win on a last-second field goal to give the Spartans a taste of their own medicine.

Final Score: Michigan State 17, Ohio State 20 (5-1, 2-1)
