There’s always a possibility of a letdown after garnering a big win or two in conference play and Oregon State could definitely act as a trap game for the Utes.

Traveling to Corvallis to play a mediocre team like Oregon State may be seen as some as a “sure-win” but that’s not always the case. Colorado probably thought that last year until they lost to Oregon State on their own turf in overtime.

Oregon State doesn’t have the firepower to compete with Utah, though, and the Utes won’t take this matchup lightly, no matter how bad the Beavers may be — they’ll probably be 1-4 heading into this matchup in mid-October. The offense is expected to be below average yet again and the defense will be lucky to crack the top-100 nationally in any category.

Expect a big game from the Utah offense, continuing what it started the previous week against Washington State. Tyler Huntley will surpass the 300-yard mark yet again and Zack Moss will record a second straight 150-yard game.

Jermar Jefferson might be the only bright spot for the Beavers in this one as the Utes will run away with a comfortable win.

Final Score: Utah 42, Oregon State 17 (6-0, 3-0)
