This is the rematch that every Utah coach, player and fan has been waiting for. Ever since the end of the 2018 season, the Utes have been craving a rematch with Washington who beat them two straight times — once in mid-September at home and then another in the Pac-12 title game.

Utah couldn’t capitalize on an early-season home game against the Huskies and that was the difference between a 9-3 regular season and 10-2.

But this time around, the Utes will be ready. They have Tyler Huntley and Zack Moss back — two guys they didn’t have in the Pac-12 Championship Game — and the defense is expected to be just as good as last year’s which finished second in the Pac-12 in scoring and total yards.

Washington is just as good defensively, though, and Jacob Eason is going to be a gem at quarterback for the Huskies.

This one will be everything it’s hyped up to be, and more.

Eason will be the difference here, though, as he’ll find Aaron Fuller in the corner of the end zone for the go-ahead score with two minutes left and Utah won’t be able to execute the two-minute offense against Washington’s defense.

Finally, the first loss of the year for Utah.

Final Score: Utah 17, Washington 24 (8-1, 5-1)
