This could be a tricky one for Washington and the Huskies have to be really careful here as to avoid a major letdown which could smash playoff hopes.

BYU is one of those teams that prides itself on the underdog role and it’ll do so yet again in this one, hosting Washington which will likely be in the top-10 range at this point in the season. They will most definitely be the top-ranked team out of the Pac-12 and probably the conference’s top hope to make the playoff.

Kalani Sitake’s team is coming off a 7-6 season and the soon-to-be fourth-year head coach has been hovering around the .500 mark in his first three seasons but will he get over the hump in 2019.

A win over Washington would surely be a program-defining one for the Cougars who had one of those wins last season at Wisconsin, but the Huskies will find a way to win.

The BYU defense will make life difficult on Jacob Eason and Co., but the Huskies will record two pick-sixes which will be the difference. The hostile road crowd in Provo will nearly get the better of Washington, but the Huskies will prove to be a team that can win in any situation.

Final Score: Washington 24, BYU 16 (4-0)
