The Kevin Sumlin era didn’t get off to the greatest start in 2018 as the Wildcats finished just 5-7 with two ugly losses against Houston and BYU to start the year.

Will his struggles continue into the 2019 season? With Khalil Tate back for his senior year, that’s not likely, but that’s only as long as he bounces back after an up-and-down junior season. He’ll have an opportunity to make a statement against one of the nation’s best defenses on Oct. 12 in Tucson, but the Huskies will have the last laugh.

After a loss to Stanford which dashed all hopes of a perfect season, Washington will rebound to smack Arizona around for 60 minutes on the road.

The Wildcats don’t exactly instill fear into opponents and Tucson wasn’t the toughest place to win last season as Arizona was just 4-3 on its home turf in 2018.

Jacob Eason will have a monster game against a mediocre defense and further his case for a spot on the All-Pac-12 first team.

Final Score: Washington 37, Arizona 17 (6-1, 3-1)
