4. This will be the year the Aggies take down Mississippi State

Ever since Dak Prescott left the Bulldogs, Texas A&M has struggled against Mississippi State. They couldn’t figure out Nick Fitzgerald for anything. They were constantly stifled by that Bulldog defense that had quite a few NFL Draft picks across it. It has been three years since the Aggies took a victory from the Bulldogs of Mississippi State and 2019 will be the year that changes.

The game comes on the heels of a visit to Ole Miss and a visit from Alabama the week before that. It’s perfectly positioned to take back the state of Mississippi and to be a rebound for what could be a terrible loss to Alabama, depending on how that weekend shapes up — and we will talk about that one here in a minute.

This will be a battle of defenses, as both teams tend to have high-powered and strong offenses and this time the Aggies will finally get the upper hand as their secondary will finally be a strength instead of a weakness.

Kellen Mond will show the confidence we have been looking for him to have as he will be in his comfort zone: Kyle Field.
