3. Clemson and Alabama: A series split

Texas A&M faces off against both teams that were in the National Championship Game in 2019. If that isn’t a bit scary, I’m honestly not sure what is. Both of these teams are extremely talented and will present a whole host of issues for the Aggies who are rebuilding at a lot of positions.

More from Texas A&M Aggies

The first of these two is Clemson.

Everyone remembers that game a season ago, the only close game that Clemson really had in 2018. It was Kelly Bryant’s last game as a Tiger as he chose to transfer and find a new home. Now, the Aggies will have to travel to Death Valley and look to knock off the defending national champions in their own house.

Trevor Lawrence is a completely different beast at quarterback than Bryant was and this won’t be an easy task for sure and will likely end in a loss for the Aggies.

Alabama comes after the bye week, which will be a big deal for the Aggies because they will need every second of it. They will need to be able to on their game as they host the defending SEC champions.

However, I think this may be the year that the Aggies are able to knock off Alabama.
