There are going to be 2-3 serious contenders to Alabama’s throne in 2019: Georgia, Florida and LSU — and maybe even Texas A&M. The Tigers are coming off a 10-3 season in which they were blanked by the Crimson Tide, ending their run at an SEC title and then lost a 74-72 seven-overtime thriller at Texas A&m in the second-to-last week of the year.

The Tigers were close to a 10 or 11-win regular season, but tough losses against Florida and Texas A&M changed that.

Ed Orgeron is heading into the 2019 season out for blood, and revenge. His team took care of Arkansas last season by a touchdown and should have the same luck this time around, but don’t be surprised if it’s a blowout instead of a one-score affair.

Joe Burrow is going to put together an All-SEC type of season for the Tigers while the run game will surprise some people. Arkansas won’t stand much of a chance here in Baton Rouge.

Final Score: Arkansas 13, LSU 38 (6-5, 2-5)
