Mark Stoops deserves all the recognition for what he’s done for Kentucky over the past six years. He’s turned a football program that had been overshadowed by its basketball counterpart into a winner, going 10-3 in 2018 with a Citrus Bowl win on Jan. 1 over Penn State — five years ago, that type of season would have been a dream, and nothing more.

Now that the Wildcats are truly contenders in the SEC East, they’re going to be a tough matchup for Arkansas, especially with Terry Wilson returning at quarterback and Lynn Bowden Jr. at receiver.

Benny Snell Jr. is gone, but junior A.J. Rose should do just fine at running back after averaging 6.2 yards per carry with 442 yards and five touchdowns last season. He’ll have a good game here as the Wildcats will use the ground game to run through the Razorbacks.

Although Arkansas got its third win of the season in the first month, it’ll hit a dry spell to start SEC play in its first three conference games. Winning in Lexington just won’t happen against this group of Wildcats coming off a 10-win season.

Final Score: Arkansas 20, Kentucky 28 (3-3, 0-3)
