This is one of the final few opportunities for Arkansas to earn a win to move closer to bowl eligibility. The remaining schedule it’s completely favorable, so taking care of business at home will be extra crucial for the Razorbacks.

Mississippi State isn’t exactly a pushover, so the Bulldogs present a formidable matchup even though Nick Fitzgerald is no longer in town. He’s set to give way to Keytaon Thompson, the projected starter under center, but he doesn’t have a sparkling resume when it comes to accuracy in the passing game — Tommy Stevens could also be the starter by this point in the year.

No matter who is at quarterback, they will end up struggling against Arkansas’ improving secondary as neither has a ton of passing experience at the collegiate level.

This game will come down to which running back has the better game and while I think Kylin Hill is gearing up for a monster season with the Bulldogs, Rakeem Boyd is a player who I believe will put the nation on notice in 2019. The Razorbacks will get the last laugh here.

Final Score: Mississippi State 24, Arkansas 28 (5-4, 2-4)
