2. Oklahoma Sooners

If Zachary Evans decides to go to a team outside the SEC, Oklahoma is a solid bet. Lincoln Riley is one of the best offensive minds in college football, and he would be able to utilize Evans and his talents.

Riley’s offense might revolve around the passing game, but that doesn’t mean that running backs are forgotten. Rodney Anderson and Trey Sermon were both key pieces in recent memory when they were healthy.

If Evans doesn’t go to the SEC, he will need to go to a powerhouse. Outside of Alabama and Clemson, Oklahoma is probably the best team in college football over the past few years. Of course, Evans won’t be tested as much against Big 12 defenses. His stats will be padded, but is that worth not going against high-quality defenses?

Another reason Oklahoma might be high on the list is because of Zachary’s recent tweets. He has been replying to Oklahoma commits about potentially teaming up. He might just be trolling, but it’s something worth looking at.

This isn’t a commitment by any means, but it’s something to consider when making predictions. Oklahoma is the closest to home, and Evans intentionally left Texas teams out of his top 5.
