The third meeting of the season against a preseason Top 3 team, Texas A&M could be playing for their College Football Playoff lives when they travel to Georgia. This marks the two team’s first meeting since the Aggies joined the SEC and the stakes couldn’t be higher. The Bulldogs are expected to compete for another SEC East title, setting up a battle of heavweights in Athens.

Texas A&M has the potential to take a leap to the next tier of college football powers this season. Unfortuantely for them, Georgia is already there. The Aggies are going to be putting pieces together on both sides of the ball from scratch this season. The Bulldogs are doing what Alabama has perfected – reloaded with five stars across the board.

This late-November game is going to feel like a gut punch, but Texas A&M doesn’t have the horses to keep up with Georgia yet, nor do they have the advantage of a favorable crowd at Kyle Field.

A loss to an SEC East team won’t put much of a damper on their divisional standings, but hopes of a Texas A&M College Football Playoff berth will be put on life support following a dominant victory by Georgia.

Record: 9-2 (6-1)
