Texas A&M gave Clemson a run for their money under the lights at Kyle Field last season. While that game will linger in the minds of analyst and Aggies as the nation turns their attention to a rematch, the two teams who take the field will look a bit different.

The Clemson defensive line which stifled Trayveon Williams (15 carries for 31 yards) will feature four new starters. The Aggies don’t have Jace Sternberger to make plays down the seam. Both teams will reload, but Clemson is playing with more bullets.

Trevor Lawrence is back as the full-time starting quarterback fresh off a national championship win as a true freshman. The same golden locks that shredded a strong Alabama secondary won’t meet much resistance against the Aggies’ patchwork back four.

In many ways, Clemson has had the rise Texas A&M aspires to achieve. The Aggies are headed in the right direction, they just aren’t there yet. Clemson wins, big.

Record: 1-1 (0-0)
