Linebackers

Starting linebackers: Buddy Johnson, Braden White OR Anthony Hines III OR Ikenna Okeke
Backups: Aaron Hansford, Andre White Jr.

Much like defensive tackle, we have one sure starter at linebacker- Buddy Johnson. He had a strong 2018 season in which he appeared in 11 games and recorded 20 tackles, 4.5 TFL and recovered a fumble. Look for those numbers to grow and get even better as he gets more experience under his belt.

That leaves us with Anthony Hines and Ikenna Okeke who are both coming back from injury and could make a splash back into the starting lineup, but junior Braden White as well as Aaron Hansford the wide receiver turned linebacker and true freshman Andre White Jr. could put a wrench in that plan.

Linebacker is a sure concern for this team. It is a thin position and an extremely important one for sure. A lot will be expected of every single name on this list as basically someone has to step up. Anthony Hines III is also on the list of guys with the most to prove, so look for him to fight hard for that starting position.
