TCU is in a tough position heading into the season. The Horned Frogs are a tough team to judge after spring ball because they didn’t have a scrimmage due to lack of depth with injuries.

The Horned Frogs went 7-6 last season but finished the year with three straight wins but there’s a major question at the quarterback position. Will Kansas State transfer Alex Delton win the job or will the highly-touted freshman Justin Rogers win it over? It’ll come down to the first weeks of the season, but my money would be on Rogers.

Iowa State was unable to overcome the Horned Frogs in Fort Worth, Texas, last season but the Cyclones will exact a bit of revenge.

Brock Purdy will have one of his better games of the year against the top passing defense in the Big 12 and Breece Hall will go off once again for another 100-yard game, quickly becoming a household name in the college ranks.

Final Score: TCU 20, Iowa State 28 (4-1, 1-1)
