Louisville: Malik Cunningham, QB

Last year was rock bottom for this Louisville program. After finishing 2-10 and winless in the ACC, new coach Scott Satterfield was brought in to replace the controversial Bobby Petrino.

This is great news for Malik Cunningham. At Appalachian State, Satterfield’s quarterback ran the ball 92 times for ten touchdowns. Last year Cunningham carried the ball 79 times, scored five touchdowns, and averaged 6.3 yards per carry.

Cunningham will have to improve as a a passer to take this offense to the next level. In a limited sample size, he completed 59 percent of his passes and had a touchdown-interception ratio of 1-1. If he does that, he could be poised for an electric season.
