NC State: Emeka Emezie, WR

Aside from a strong offensive line, the most important thing a young quarterback can have is a reliable, go-to weapon.

As sophomore Matthew McKay takes over the starting job that was held by Ryan Finley for so long, there is little doubt that Emeka Emezie will be one of his favorite targets.

Emezie wasn’t the primary weapon in 2018, but he was a very productive part of the Wolfpack receiving core. He hauled in 53 balls for 616 yards and five touchdowns in 2018. Those numbers may not seem elite, but they came with two 1,000 yard receivers in front of him in Jakobi Meyers and Kelvin Harmon.

With both gone, Emezie will take over as option number one.
