With college football’s 2019 season approaching, it’s time to look at which freshmen could be the next faces of the sport.

Trevor Lawrence took the entire country by storm last season, cementing his legacy already with an undefeated season, a national championship and a great head of hair. Did I mention it was only his true freshman season?

Lawrence is already the face of college football, becoming the most popular Heisman Trophy candidate for 2019, and he has NFL teams already talking about tanking to draft him No. 1 overall in 2021.

His meteoric rise is something we see in college football, especially of late. More and more freshmen have stepped in and started right away, and there’s a lot of potential in the 2019 class.

As we get these first scouting reports and grainy high school footage, some players thrive immediately (such as Lawrence and Jake Fromm), some stars take time to develop (Tim Tebow and Baker Mayfield) and some just don’t see out their full potential (Sorry, Marcus Vick).

The 2019 recruiting class has talent at the skill positions, including multiple highly-recruited quarterbacks. Some may step in right away and could have a Lawrence-esque rise, and some will get the time to develop behind the experienced talent in front of them.

These are the 10 true freshman who will become the next superstars of college football.
