The 2020 NFL Draft is still nine months away, but it’s never too early to look ahead. What are the strengths and weaknesses of the class?
As the college football season approaches, scouts will be scouring games to develop big boards for the 2020 NFL Draft. Some stars have been tracked since their freshman year. Some have been waiting for their turn to start for three years. No matter what the situation of each player is, they will be found through scouting this season.
Every draft class has its own storylines. Whether it’s depth at key positions or clear-cut favorites to be the first player drafted, talking points will be formed. 2017 had three star quarterbacks. 2018 had the debate for who deserved to be QB1. In 2019, defensive studs were the stars of the show.
It will take some time to see who the true strengths of this class are, and it will depend on a few things. One major factor will be who decides to declare as a junior. Juniors dictate every class, and this one will be no different. The 2017 recruiting class was absolutely loaded, and it is time for them to start their professional careers. Whether its Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback, Travis Etienne at running back, or Dylan Moses on defense, there will be plenty of stars ready to play in the NFL. The question marks come with players who will have to decide based on their performance this season.
