Les Miles optimistic about Kansas’ future

Les Miles got right to the point and addressed disciplinary action take against star running back Pooka Williams. He made it clear that violence of any kind would not be tolerated.

When asked about the type of offense he would run he made it clear that he was going to do what his team could do best. Miles added that he thinks he has a better talent base at Kansas that he did when he took over at Oklahoma State in 2001.

When Miles was asked about coming back to coaching at the age of 65, he mentioned that he didn’t think he has ever been happier than when leading a team onto the football field. He also stated that one of the benefits of taking the Kansas job was being able to sell legit academics about the University of Kansas.
