3. A new (Ryan) Day for Ohio State

The Ryan Day era has begun at Ohio State and he went 3-0 as the Buckeyes’ interim coach in 2018. Day lured quarterback Justin Fields from Georgia, who was the Nation’s No. 1 recruit last year, but failed to become the Bulldogs’ starter and transferred to the program.

More from Big Ten

The Buckeyes remain the most talented team in the Big Ten, with four and five-star talent across the roster. The offense has enough firepower to duplicate last year’s numbers.

The defense returns nearly intact, but must make drastic improvements, after finishing 10th in the league and 71st nationally in total yards allowed.

The first four games will likely be blowouts leading up to a road clash at Nebraska. Ohio State’s remaining schedule is a smooth ride with Michigan State, Wisconsin and Penn State coming to the Horseshoe. Not to mention the Buckeyes’ haven’t lost in Ann Arbor since 2011.

It’ll be a complete shocker if Ohio State doesn’t finish the regular season with at least 11 wins for an eighth-straight year.
