One of the best defensive backs in the country, Richie Grant has risen from two-star wide receiver prospect to a potential top three round choice in the NFL draft, as he led the Knights in tackles (109), solo tackles (69) and interceptions (6).

Grant leads what is likely to be a strong defensive back core at UCF, and is on the radar of every team around the league.

Despite being a little small for the position, Grant flies around the field and has a perfect blend of pass defense and rush defense to make a good fit in a fast defense at UCF.

Expect an exciting early season matchup, as he and the rest of the Knight’s secondary take on one of the best quarterbacks in the country, KJ Costello and the Stanford Cardinal.
