Is 2019 a make-or-break year for USF football coach Charlie Strong? He’ll have to do more than he did in 2018 to retain his job.

A 7-6 season can be spun in so many different ways. The Bulls’ 7-6 campaign in 2018 can only be spun as ‘a tale of two seasons’.

During South Florida’s 7-0 start, everything that could go right, went right. On the other hand, during the Bulls’ 0-6 slide, everything that could go wrong, went wrong.

The Bulls bring in new offensive coordinator Kerwin Bell who was head coach at Jacksonville University and Division II power Valdosta State, winning at D-II national title in 2018.

Part of that disastrous slide could be attributed to injuries plaguing the Bulls. Starting quarterback and former Alabama prospect Blake Barnett and linebacker Nico Sawtelle were both hampered by injuries.

Will a new offensive coordinator and the return of healthy stars produce more wins this season?

Let’s preview the South Florida offense, defense and predict how many games it’ll win.
