Can Dave Clawson maintain and expand a program as well as he builds one by taking Wake Forest football to the next level?

Dave Clawson is a program builder.

In his earlier stops — Fordham, Richmond and Bowling Green — he’s turned struggling programs around in four years. Wake Forest is no different. The Demon Deacons went from six wins his first two seasons to winning the Military Bowl in his third year on Tobacco Road.

The question Clawson has to answer is whether he can maintain and take a program to the next level as well as he can rebuild one.
