Duke football faces uphill battle to reach bowl eligibility in 2019

Can Duke football go to a bowl game without star quarterback Daniel Jones? Will Quentin Harris take the reins of the position?

What David Cutcliffe has done with the Duke football program is the greatest reclamation job this side of Manhattan, Kan.

They’ve been to bowl games six times in the last seven years including winning 10 games and the ACC Atlantic division in 2013. It’s not a stretch to say this is the best run in the history of Duke football.

Last season was another solid year for the Blue Devils, finishing 8-5 and defeating the Temple Owls 56-27 in the Independence Bowl.

What will this season bring for the Blue Devils? Can they return to the postseason for a third consecutive year?  What will the quarterback position look like without Daniel Jones?
