How will the Blue Devils fare in 2019?

- Week 2: North Carolina A&T (Sept. 7)
- Week 3: at Middle Tennessee (Sept. 14)
- Week 4: BYE
- Week 5: at Virginia Tech (Sept. 27)
- Week 6: Pitt (Oct. 5)
- Week 7: Georgia Tech (Oct. 12)
- Week 8: at Virginia (Oct. 19)
- Week 9: at North Carolina (Oct. 26)
- Week 10: BYE
- Week 11: Notre Dame (Nov. 9)
- Week 12: Syracuse (Nov. 16)
- Week 13: at Wake Forest (Nov. 23)
- Week 14: Miami (Nov. 30)
Here’s something you don’t hear often in places like Durham: There’s plenty of talent.
Although they lose players like Daniel Jones and TJ Rahming and have to replace two linebackers, they have good young talent. Depth might be an issue, but they are good when they are healthy.
So how will they do this year? One of the important factors is the Blue Devils’ schedule.
Prediction: 5-7, 2-6 ACC
First, they don’t play Clemson in the regular season and they get Syracuse at home. Second, they get three of their toughest conference games at home with Pittsburgh, Miami and Virginia coming to Durham. However, their non-conference is tough with Alabama to open the season and Notre Dame at home in November.
