What can we expect from the 2019 Arkansas football team? The Razorbacks will be looking to bounce back from a 2-10 season.

The Arkansas football program is happy to be putting the 2-10 season of 2018 completely behind them as the start to the 2019 season is weeks away. With one of the worst seasons in program history, a season where they failed to win one conference game and lost to Colorado State and North Texas, the start to the 2019 season couldn’t get here fast enough.

Head coach Chad Morris will be entering his second season as the head guy for the Razorbacks and things seem to be moving in the right direction. The Razorbacks have had a full year and offseason under Morris, another recruiting class under the head coach and two transfer quarterbacks who should help the offense improve.

Quarterbacks Ben Hicks and Nick Starkel both transferred into the program and are currently competing for the 2019 starting job. Regardless who wins the job, we can expect improved play from that position as the Razorback quarterback unit threw just as many interceptions as touchdown passes in 2018 (17).

The Razorbacks should be much more competitive in 2019 and should more than double their win total from 2018. While making a bowl game still might be tough in 2019 for the Razorbacks, if they can pull off an upset or two they may have a shot to go bowling.
