Mississippi State ran up the score on Arkansas last year winning 52-6. The Razorbacks will remember that score when they play them this year and the final score will be much closer.

Like Arkansas, Mississippi State is in the middle of a quarterback competition with Keytaon Thompson and Tommy Stevens competing for the starting job. Also, like the Razorbacks, the Bulldogs will be looking to improve their passing game in order to take the next step as a team.

The game last year was actually close in the third quarter for a bit before Mississippi State exploded to score 52 points and did not look back. Mississippi State will be the favorites here, but this is a potential slip up for the Bulldogs and if they don’t bring their ‘A’ game, Arkansas will get them.

The game is close all the way with the Bulldogs pulling out the victory. However, if a few things go the Razorbacks way they will get the win.

Final Score: Mississippi State 27, Arkansas 21 (3-6, 0-6)
