LSU will be one of the best teams in the nation in 2019 and will be favored by a decent margin in this game. However, any time Arkansas plays LSU it always has a chance.

The Tigers won the game last year 24-17, but Arkansas kept it close and was in striking distance the whole game. LSU’s new offense that is supposed to be centered around the “RPO attack” (run-pass option), should help open up the field for the Tigers and if they run it efficiently, should help take their offense to the next level.

This will be a must-win for Arkansas to make a bowl game if the schedule goes according to our prediction. Arkansas has had some memorable upset’s in Baton Rouge before. However, I don’t see an upset happening this time. I would not be surprised at all if Arkansas catches Kentucky, Auburn or Mississippi State (even though we have Arkansas losing to each one), but LSU should be laser focused here as they could have a shot at the SEC West title.

Even with LSU winning here, I expect Arkansas to keep it close and make LSU sweat until the end of the fourth quarter when LSU gets a late touchdown to pull away.

Final Score: Arkansas 20, LSU 31 (4-7, 0-7)
