When the San Diego State Aztecs drive up north to Los Angeles they will be coming of a blowout win over Weber State in Week 1. While most teams make their biggest improvements of the season from Week 1 to Week 2, the Aztecs will not be able to bear the fruits of those gains.

The Aztecs have struggled to produce any offense since the departure of star running back, Rashaad Penny, two years ago to the NFL. Last year, the Aztecs won only four of their conference matchups in the Mountain West. This led to a fourth place finish in the West division of the conference.

The UCLA Bruins will win the hearts of their home fans with a big win over the in-state opponent. Additionally, after this game, the Bruins will begin to earn some recognition in the Pac-12 as a serious contender in the conference.

Final: San Diego State 14, UCLA 31 (2-0)
