The UCLA Bruins will be hosting Oklahoma on Sept. 14, and that’s about the best thing they have going for them in this matchup. Jalen Hurts is expected to be the starter for the Sooners this season which will be problematic for many teams. The Alabama transfer will end up dominating the Big12 just as Kyler Murray did the year prior.

Lincoln Riley will be doing his best to give Hurts the Heisman Trophy winning year that he gave to Baker Mayfield and Murray. But frankly, Hurts isn’t the type of quarterback to put up Heisman type of numbers. He is, however, the kind of quarterback to take Alabama to back-to-back national championship games.

And because of Hurts ability to lead teams to victory, the Sooners are set to win the vast majority of their games this year. The UCLA defense is too young to keep up with Lincoln Riley’s high-powered offense.

Final: Oklahoma 42, UCLA 17 (2-1)
