Can Razorbacks improve defensively?

John Chavis expects his defense to be improved this season. They return two dynamic linemen in seniors McTelvin Agim and T.J. Smith, but will need young guys to step up on a defensive line that has parts to replace.

The linebacking corps are thin with De’Jon Harris recovering from a broken foot.

The secondary is young this season with Kamren Curl, the most experienced defensive back returning this season. The Razorbacks need freshmen Greg Brooks and Devin Bush to play well, and the other two cornerbacks sophomores Jarques McClellion and Montaric Brown most likely starting.

Whatever combination they figure out on defense, it needs to improve on one that finished 11th in the SEC in last season.
