Can offense be more than just Jermar Jefferson?

The Beaver offense wasn’t bad for a team that finished with two wins as they averaged 26 points and over 400 yards per game.

Running back Jermar Jefferson quietly had over 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns on the ground earning him Pac-12 Offensive Freshman of the Year and all Pac-12 honorable mention awards.

They had three receivers with 50 receptions and two of them return next season. Jake Luton was good, but not great when healthy, but he’s being pushed for the starting job by Nebraska transfer Tristan Gebbia. No matter who starts, the quarterback play should improve.

The trouble spot is the offensive line. They were terrible last season giving up 48 sacks, and they return only two starters from a unit that isn’t very deep.
