The game between Iowa State and Kansas State always seems to come down to the last few minutes. Iowa State is just 1-4 against the Wildcats the past five seasons and the largest margin of victory over that time span has been five, and happened in 2016 when Kansas State won 31-26.

Last year, Iowa State came away on top in a close game with the final score being 42-38. This will be the last regular season game for both teams in 2019 and there will be a lot on the line.

Iowa State will need to win to have a chance to go to the Big 12 title game and Kansas State will need a victory to reach their sixth of the year and make it to a bowl.

This will be a cold game at Kansas State with the offenses not getting rolling until the second half. Like several other games this year, Brock Purdy will lead the Cyclones to a game winning drive in the fourth quarter and their defense will stop the Wildcats on a fourth down in the last minute of the game. Purdy will be able to take a knee in the victory formation.

Final Score: Kansas State 20, Iowa State 24 (10-2, 7-2)
