In the sixth game of the season for Iowa State, this is only its second road game. West Virginia looks to be in a rebuilding phase and will have to pull off a few upsets to make a bowl game this year. However, traveling to Morgantown is always a tough place for visitors.

Last year, Iowa State upset West Virginia when the Mountaineers were ranked sixth in the nation. West Virginia was 5-0 before being upset by the Cyclones. This game got the Cyclones back to .500 last year and was pivotal point of the season.

The roles are somewhat reversed this year as Iowa State will be the favorites and West Virginia will be looking for the upset. I expect Iowa State to score a lot of points this game with West Virginia doing enough to hang around, but never fully get in the game
