How will the Bruins fare in 2019?

  • Week 1: at Cincinnati (Aug. 29)
  • Week 2: San Diego State (Sept. 9)
  • Week 3: Oklahoma (Sept. 14)
  • Week 4: at Washington State (Sept. 21)
  • Week 5: at Arizona (Sept. 28)
  • Week 6: Oregon State (Oct. 5)
  • Week 7: BYE
  • Week 8: at Stanford (Oct. 17)
  • Week 9: Arizona State (Oct. 26)
  • Week 10: Colorado (Nov. 2)
  • Week 11: BYE
  • Week 12: at Utah (Nov. 16)
  • Week 13: at USC (Nov. 23)
  • Week 14: California (Nov. 30)

Kicking off (get it?) the year by traveling to Cincinnati will be an undoubtedly tough start. Nevertheless, the Bruins will be looking to win on the Bearcats’ turf just like Cincinnati did to them the year prior.

Following that first game, the Bruins should get a win against the San Diego State Aztecs at home. A loss to Oklahoma is inevitable, just as it will be up north against Washington State the following week.

After that two-game losing streak, UCLA will get hot, winning the next five games, which will be highlighted by a road victory against Pac-12 powerhouse, the Stanford Cardinal. Utah will snap the Bruins’ winning streak since the game is in Utah and Kyle Whittingham’s squad will be coming off a bye week.

Lastly, the Bruins will close out the year with another win against USC as well as a home win over Cal. Closing out the year with a 9-3 record will give the Bruins a solid chance at representing the Pac-12 South in the conference title game.
