The opening day of the 2019 season is capped off by Arizona football taking a trip to face Hawaii. Here are three bold predictions for Saturday night.

It’s an exciting time of year. Football is here, and new tradition of “Week 0” gets some serious juice in 2019. This year, a doubleheader of Florida-Miami and Arizona-Hawaii takes place on Aug. 24.

The Rainbow Warriors have played in this early week before, but this is the most exciting matchup. Hawaii won eight games a year ago, and their offense has emerged as one of the most potent in the nation last year. Nick Rolovich has a losing record in his Hawaii career, but patience is absolutely paying off.

On the other side, Arizona enters a very intriguing 2019 season. Khalil Tate had real flashes early in his career, but last year saw him take a dip. If he bounces back, paired with tremendous running back JJ Taylor, this Wildcat offense has a high ceiling this season.

We aren’t easing into the 2019 season, and the night cap of the opening Saturday should be a good one.
