A lot of players are ranked based on actual production, but T.J. Vasher‘s spot at No. 49 is based on mostly potential. He’s a big target at 6-foot-6 and 190 pounds and had 54 catches for 687 yards and six touchdowns, but he’s capable of much more with the Red Raiders.

While Vasher is a walking circus catch, he needs more targets to be valued any higher on this list. Does he have the potential to be one of the top 50 players in the country? Absolutely, that’s why he’s here, but I think he could rise even more, potentially into the top-40 or top-30 range.

Texas Tech will hope to see more of the 2017 version of Vasher who averaged 18.8 yards per catch and had 545 yards on 29 receptions in just nine games.

If he realizes his potential, he’ll be a nightmare for cornerbacks in 2019.
