1. Florida wins 10 games again

Florida’s ten wins in 2018 was a semi-miracle orchestrated by Dan Mullen. Another ten-win season in 2019 will confirm it was more than an aberration.

Compiling a double-digit win total won’t be easy as the Gators have a schedule ranked in the top-ten for difficulty.

In addition to the already grueling SEC schedule, Florida’s difficulties are compounded thanks to a beefed-up non-conference schedule and two difficult SEC West crossover games. Florida opens the season against a talented Miami team in a rekindled rivalry game and will face a likely improved Florida State team in the final game of the season. Additionally, Florida welcomes Auburn to The Swamp the week before traveling to LSU in the always-crazy Death Valley.

Behind Dan Mullen’s vaunted coaching ability, improved quarterback play, a defense with elite talent and positive momentum, the Gators should finish the season with at least nine regular season wins with the chance to add a tenth in a New Year’s Day bowl game.

Gator fans may have higher expectations like the College Football Playoff, but another ten-win season and a couple of key victories against top ranked teams would constitute a more than successful 2019 season for Florida. With back-to-back double-digit win seasons, Florida could realistically find a national championship in its bold predictions for 2020.
