Oklahoma football has made the College Football Playoff in back-to-back seasons under Lincoln Riley. Can the Sooners finally win it all?

Lincoln Riley has done an incredible job living up to the Bob Stoops legacy.

In two seasons, he coached back-to-back Heisman Trophy winners, led record-setting offenses and had multiple first round picks. Now, he’ll look to take the Sooners to the next level: winning a playoff game, and maybe even a national title.

Oklahoma comes into 2019 with a lot of hype again, having won the signing of possibly the greatest graduate transfer player of all time in Jalen Hurts, allowing them to reload after losing Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray in successive seasons.

Everyone wants to see Hurts, as he now commands an offense that has been explosive in years past, and created multiple first round picks. But Oklahoma has the potential to make a huge leap (for their lofty standards) with a rebuilt staff, and experience all around the field.

How will the Sooners fare in 2019 with the Alabama-transfer under center and a new outlook on the defensive side of the ball? It could be national title or bust for Oklahoma.
