Arizona football and the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors square off late Saturday night. Here’s why the Wildcats will pull off the road win.

Break out the Leis, sunscreen, and sunglasses because the Arizona Wildcats travel to Honolulu to take on the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at Aloha Stadium to kick off the season.

The Wildcats look to get off to a fast start this season under second-year head coach Kevin Sumlin and improve on last year’s 5-7 record.

The Warriors, on the other hand, look to keep the momentum from an 8-6 season going with the return of Hawaii’s famous run-and-shoot offense under fourth year head coach and alum Nick Rolovich. It’s hard not to think about the Rainbow Warriors and not think of great quarterback play. This game evokes memories of guys like Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan.

This will be an interesting matchup for both teams.

This is a good early test for the Wildcats defense as they have to stop Hawaii’s spread attack that Rolovich himself ran as a player. A trip to the Aloha state might sound awesome for tourists, but it can be tricky for teams playing the Warriors. Colorado found that out in 2015 when it was upset by Hawaii.

Will the Wildcats suffer the same fate? No they won’t suffer the same fate on the island, and here are five reasons why.
