Offensive Line: C-

There are some positives to this Miami offense. Running back DeeJay Dallas is terrific. Young signal-caller Jarren Wiliams had a great first half, and showed both speed and accuracy. He went 19-of-29 passing for 214 yards with a touchdown and no turnovers.

But yikes, the rest of the line showed how green they were by giving up 10 sacks. Williams’ numbers are even more impressive considering that.

Miami’s redshirt freshman quarterback showed impressive poise early on, but that rapidly deteriorated as this game came to its carnival ride of an ending.

After a Gator interception, Miami’s final drive was a study in ineptitude. In almost four minutes, there were 10 plays with only one in which Miami actually gained yardage. In the span of the remaining four minutes of the game, it was a combustible combination of sacks, incompletions, fumbles and penalties.

Florida got two pass interference calls, but Miami still couldn’t capitalize on the 30-yard gift they got. Florida managed to eke out a four-point win, but it was more due to Miami’s errors than to its own competence.

Side note: The awesome new 305 turnover chain helped this average immensely, by the way. That bit of gaudiness deserves an A.
