Overall game grade: A+ (chaos theory)

Yes, this game was sloppy. Yes, both teams need work — but oh, man. This game was everything that is awesome about college football. It had complete chaos and brilliant comedy, with enough plot twists to keep us watching until the final, crazy end.

If you tried to describe this game to someone, they’d think you were schizophrenic. With all of the errors and miscues, the game was one that no analyst could have predicted. It was the kind of game that reminds us why college football is wonderful.

There was a great deal of smack-talking (mostly from Feleipe Franks), there were five lead changes and the game ended on a sack, for Pete’s sake. I personally almost peed myself looking at Steve Spurrier’s expression of utter disgust after the Gators’ second pass interference call.

I left that game with only one thought: What the heck did I just watch? And frankly, that’s how it  should be.
