16. Texas A&M University: Kyle Field

The SEC is known for having not only the best teams in college football but also the best venues and home-field advantages. When it comes to the Texas A&M Aggies, they have some of the best fans in the country. When the team is rocking inside Kyle Field, it is almost deafening to the Aggies’ opponents.

Kyle Field opened up in 1904. Since then, it has become one of the tougher places to play in the nation. The largest stadium in the conference in terms of capacity, Kyle Field can seat 102,733, which also happens to be the fourth biggest stadium in college football, as well as the United States.

Affectionately known as “The Home of the 12th Man,” Kyle Field was named after former athletic director Edwin Jackson Kyle. It has become quite the home-field advantage for the Aggies. During the 1990s, Texas A&M won 93.2 percent of their home games inside Kyle Field. Overall, they have won over 400 games, while posting a winning percentage over 70 percent.

In the late 1990s, the Aggies reeled off 22 straight home wins, while posting a 55-4-1 record during the early part of the decade. An insanely loud place to play, Kyle Field set its attendance record back in 2014 when over 110,000 fans packed the stadium to see the team lose to the Ole Miss Rebels by the score of 35-20. Still, there have been plenty more wins than losses for the Aggies in this building.
