11. University of Florida: Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

The Florida Gators have a long history of success when it comes to college football, putting an elite product on the field on nearly a yearly basis. While they may not be one of the top three teams in the country right now, for a time, there was no better program, as they churned out three national titles from 1996 through 2008.

During that time, the Gators were nearly impossible to beat at home, thanks to an incredible stadium that is one of the best in the nation. The 18th largest stadium in the world, Ben Hill Griffin Stadium can hold over 90,000 fans. During the college football season, it is packed with Gators fans ready to cheer on their team.

Nicknamed “The Swamp,” Ben Hill Griffin Stadium is located right on campus. It was designed to trap crowd noise, making it very hard for opposing teams to come in and get the win. Because it is built below ground level, the stadium can get very loud, giving the Gators a distinct advantage when they play in front of their home team.

The Gators have a long history of success, producing epic all-time players like Heisman Trophy winners Tim Tebow and Danny Wuerffel, two of the better quarterbacks in the history of college football. Coaches Urban Meyer and Steve Spurrier are also two of the best to ever do it and they certainly won their fair share of games inside The Swamp.
