Expectations are high for Georgia football in 2019, but the Bulldogs still have progress they have to make. Is this the year the Bulldogs win it all?

This year is pivotal for Georgia football. The past two seasons have been successful in many ways, but the Bulldogs haven’t managed to achieve all of their goals. With some of their best players being draft-eligible at the end of the year, it might be now or never for Kirby Smart.

However, Georgia has a lot of obstacles to overcome. Their schedule doesn’t do them any favors, especially with Notre Dame in non-conference. They also have to play Florida, Texas A&M, and Auburn all in November. They also have to replace some top talents on both sides of the ball. The biggest concern is easily the lack of proven talent at receiver, but some of the best defensive players are gone from last year as well.

Of course, Georgia’s final boss is the Alabama Crimson Tide. Alabama has eliminated Georgia’s title hopes each of the last two years with a late-game comeback with a backup quarterback. This year, they have will likely have to get through four quarters of Tua Tagovailoa, a Heisman hopeful.

However, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic in Athens. The Bulldogs have Jake Fromm, one of the best quarterbacks in the SEC. They also have D’Andre Swift, the best running back in the conference. These two stars behind a strong offensive line will be fun to watch.

It’s safe to say that the road to a ring will be tough, but it is a distinct possibility for Georgia. The Bulldogs have plenty of reason to be optimistic as they look ahead for this season. So, what will this season look like for Georgia football?
