Blitz Podcast: Breaking down first college football action of 2019

The podcast returns this week to break down Week 0 college football action and a look ahead at a handful of key games taking place over Labor Day Weekend.

Welcome to 2019, everyone! After months of pining for pigskin action, we finally got our first taste last weekend as a Sunshine State rivalry headlined a quartet of thrillers.

With the first results in the books after another long summer of waiting for college football to return across the country, we finally get to talk about things that happened on the gridiron. While there were only a few games in Week 0, the action was definitely memorable.

Miami fell to Florida despite bringing back the Turnover Chain in full force. Arizona collapsed to Hawaii as Khalil Tate failed to reach the goal line on the final play of the game. There was even a pair of FCS games to whet the appetite before the nighttime action last Saturday.

All in all, the four games we had the privilege to watch in Week 0 offered a great appetizer for the smorgasbord of football games that fall between Thursday and Monday across the long Labor Day weekend.
