2. A dominant offensive line allows for big plays

Clemson has a strong offense in line for 2019, one that returns the majority of the unit for the new season. That is a big deal. Of course, two of those players that did leave are the left tackle and the center.

With that being said, though, three of the five are still intact and this unit was great last season and I have confidence that the unit will be even better this season.

Throw in talents like Justyn Ross, Tee Higgins, Derion Kendrick and Joe Ngata on the field at wide receiver and then running backs like Travis Etienne and Lyn-J Dixon and you’ve got a recipe for success under Dabo Swinney and quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Look for quite a few big plays before the clock hits zero in this one. I’ve got Etienne for at least two touchdowns of his own, one on a play bigger than 50 yards in the first half to really put this one on ice before halftime even hits.

The receivers will be able to make those big catches as the offensive line will give Lawrence plenty of time to make decisions on where to throw the ball. Simply put, it’ll be a big day for the Clemson offense.
