The 2018 matchup between Texas A&M and Clemson was filled with everything. A glimpse of Trevor Lawrence, a controversial call and a near-comeback by the Aggies. And the matchup of these two in 2019 shouldn’t be anything short of an instant classic. The Tigers are now the defending national champs and play host to the Aggies who are hungry for revenge.

The Aggies get on the board early and then trade several punts with the Tigers before going up 14-0. A surprising lead doesn’t faze the Tigers as they respond with their first touchdown of the game. And following a late first half turnover, the Tigers take on three more just before the halftime.

Clemson’s halftime adjustments prove worthy as they go on to win the third quarter 14-3 and enter the final quarter with a touchdown advantage. The fourth quarter is as intense as it can get and the Aggies pull off a big drive midway through the quarter and tie the game up at 24-24.

But the Clemson Tigers show while they’re the favorite to win it all gain this year and put another seven on the board and force the Aggies off the field and out of the stadium with a turnover on downs with under a minute left to play.

Final Score: Texas A&M 24, Clemson 31 (1-1)
